Splurge Vs. Steal: Designer Dupe Handbags
Hello friends!
I have been looking for a nice handbag for fall, and although I haven't found my favorite yet, I have found SO many great designer dupes! I'm going to shoot you straight here: I love a good handbag as much as the next gal and am willing to pay a little more on a bag than I would on a top or something because I will use the same one for a whole season.
I love to daydream about designer bags and have a few sitting in imaginary carts somewhere on the web ;). HOWEVER, I just cannot justify spending over $1,000 on a bag (or any article of clothing) at this point in my life. No shame if you do, but I have a specific spending budget every month, and I can't help but think about aaaallll the cute shoes, dresses, jeans, and jewelry I could purchase for the same price as ONE designer bag! So, if you feel the same, this post is for you!
You do not have to compromise on style or quality to stay within a budget in my opinion! The only thing these dupes are missing is the label. :) So without further ado, let's take a closer look at these designer bags and their look-alikes!
1. Gucci Marmont Bag- This bag is absolutely gorgeous and one that I see on other bloggers a lot. It is the cheapest of the "splurge" designer bags I found so that's an extra bonus if you are looking to splurge on one! This one is just under $1,000. The dupe is from Express and is only $49! I love the color and shape, and it looks really similar to the Gucci bag in person! It also comes in black and gray.
2. Givenchy Antigona Bag- I love the size of this one! It's the perfect tote bag, and I think blush is essentially a neutral at this point that isn't going anywhere. The dupe is $39 from Target! It is a little more of a pink than the Givenchy. I have the dupe in gray, and it's a great quality bag for the price!
3. Chloe Leather Faye Bag- I've had my eye on this Chloe bag for a long time. It's such a classic silhouette and style! I was SO excited when I found the dupe at Express for only $65! Honestly, these look so similar that I would hardly be able to tell a difference if I saw someone carrying one. The black and gold is perfect for fall/winter.
4. Chloe Nile Bracelet Bag- This bag is the cutest shape and size and comes in lots of chic color options! The dupe is $42 from Amazon and also looks pretty stinking convincing to me! I am pretty torn between this white one, the gray, and the beige for my favorite.
