Spring Break Essentials
Spring Break is almost heerreee!!
I'm trying to get a head start on packing for our LA trip as I know I will likely be using all 4 of our free checked bags (and Cody can use one carry-on, he's fine ;)). I thought I would give you all a peek of a few of my favorites and must-haves from my inside my suitcase!
Planning what you're going to wear on trips is the most fun part of the trip right?!
Lush Fashion Lounge has made my life super easy (again) by basically being a one-stop shop for all my Spring Break needs! They also have TONS of adorable graphic t's and tanks for every type of Spring Break getaway.
Let me talk specifically about some of these great items I'm packing.
First up, my #1 pick- this beach-y pink romper. To. Die. For. The print is absolute perfection, and the fit is super flattering. I paired it with my favorite nude wedges and a cute beach hat for a complete look! Can we also talk about this bag for a second? I am absolutely obsessed. I searched high and low for a reasonably-priced straw bag and was so pumped when I found this one for only $34! I'll be carrying it all week in LA!
Another super essential to any Spring Break trip is a couple of great pairs of shorts. Lush has the best selection I've seen this year all in one place. And most are under $50!
I am really picky about shorts because my body type doesn't lend well to something that tends to be really tight on my thighs, but I tried on multiple pair at Lush and loved them ALL. I had a hard time picking just two!
I think every girl needs one pair of go-to denim shorts + one black (mine are only $39!) or white pair for Spring and Summer. Let's be real- when the weather gets really warm, you can't pay me to put jeans on so I have to have some great shorts locked and loaded. These two are PERFECT for Spring Break and summer too!
I paired my black ones with a quintessential LA t-shirt (sized up 2 sizes to a L), a basic jean jacket, and some sneakers to stay comfy while walking around the city.
I paired my jean shorts with an easy lightweight pullover that would be perfectly comfy for traveling as well as for a swim cover-up + my favorite lace-up sandals.
Last but certainly not least, I paired this gorgeous floral kimono with a simple LBD and these precious black wedges for a dressier look. I always like to throw in at least one nicer outfit when traveling because you never know when a fancy restaurant is going to catch your eye and you want something other than jean shorts or little rompers to wear!
All 3 of these pieces are super versatile and can be worn lots of different ways- major bonus when packing! The kimono would also be so adorable with white shorts and a tank top for something more casual!
